You Don't Have to Adopt to Make a Difference! ❤️

As a registered charity, we provide charitable tax receipts for eligible donations, so your generosity can make a difference while offering you a tax benefit too!

Transparency & Accountability 🔍 We believe our donors deserve to know their money is being handled responsibly. As a registered charity, Border Paws undergoes an independent financial audit every year by a third-party accounting firm. This helps ensure our finances are in order and donations are being put to good use. Your trust means everything to us!

Did you know we use Zeffy for online donations? Unlike many other fundraising platforms, Zeffy allows us to receive 100% of your donation without losing a portion to processing fees. As an added bonus, you'll also receive your charitable tax receipt instantly by email.

When making your donation online, Zeffy will ask if you'd like to "Help keep Zeffy free for Border Paws Animal Shelter Society." This is an optional contribution to Zeffy, not Border Paws. If you'd prefer not to contribute, simply select "Other" and enter $0.

We love that Zeffy allows us to receive 100% of your donation, and we never expect our donors to cover the cost of our fundraising platform. Your donation should go directly toward helping the animals!

Make Giving a Regular Thing ❤️ You can choose to become a monthly or annual donor! Regular donations help provide more consistent funding and allow us to better plan for the animals who come through our doors. Even a small recurring donation adds up and makes a big difference over time.

Choose Where Your Donation Goes 🐾 When making your donation, you can choose where you'd like your money to go. Support our general fund to help with everyday operating costs, or direct your donation specifically toward sick and injured animals who need extra medical care. Either way, you're making a difference!

Give in Honour or Memory 💕 Looking for a meaningful way to celebrate someone special or remember a loved one? You can make a donation in their honour or memory. It's a thoughtful way to recognize someone important while helping animals in need. What better way to celebrate a love of animals than by making a difference in their lives?

Your donation makes a difference, no matter the amount.  We know times are tough and that everyone is feeling the pinch, so please know that we appreciate every contribution, big or small.  Small donations add up, and together, our community can make a huge impact. Every contribution helps us continue doing what we do, giving animals a second chance when they need it most. ❤️
